Golfers Compete in Rome Sport Hall of Fame Golf Scramble

The Rome Sports Hall of Fame hosted their 30th Annual Golf Scramble at the Rome Country Club. 25 teams competed in the scramble with 3 teams being crowned the winners in their respective divisions.

Co-ed Division Champions - Team Tyler Williams: Tyler Williams, Mackenzie Welter, Matt Welter, and Josh Reed with a score of 74.

National Division Champions - Team Martin: Robert Rieck, Paul Panek, Tom Narolis, and Mike Barthold with a score of 63.

American Division Champions - Team Korpela: Jim Korpela, Kevin Coe, Carl Tardugno, and Matt Vitalone with a score of 58.


The winners of the Longest Drive were: Kevin Koe; American Division, Mike Maratea; National Division, and Jim Tims; Co-Ed Division.

The winners of Closest to the Pin were: Gary Tarantino Sr. on Hole 2, Brad Waters on Hole 3, Card Tardugno Hole 14, and Gerry Staudmyer on Hole 16.
