National Girls & Women in Sport Reception (NGWSD)

The RSHOF hosted an NGWSD celebration for all of our High School female Section 3 Champions of 2025. What a terrific year for Rome's female athletes.

This year we had four Section 3 Championship teams: Bowling, Field Hockey, Softball and Volleyball, several Section 3 Individual Champions: Rachel O'Rourke (golf), Keyonna Mitchell (Indoor Track), Jaleea Garner (Track & Field), and Amiyah Ferebee (track). Additionally, we have a NYS Champion in Girl's Bowling: Mylie Weyant.

The RSHOF hosted a reception with guest speaker Sheila McInerney, former outstanding Tennis Professional and Coach from Arizona State. This was a special reception to honor our many successful female teams and individuals for this school year.

Congratulations to all of these ladies!!
